A place where I can share the quotes that I have collected (and keep collecting) over the years. I have gathered them from all sorts of sources. The "Quote of the Day" posts will always be a quote from a book and may be on any topic.

Quote It! Saturday (on Sunday)

This blog is, of course, devoted to quotes. At least it's supposed to be...I'm still having trouble keeping up with two blogs. Gonna keep trying to get back into the swing of it.

In the meantime, Freda's Voice has a wonderful meme called
Quote It! that I cannot resist participating in. You can post as many quotes as you like. To join in, hop on over to Freda's place!

~Glenn Clark

~Arthur C. Clarke

~Van Cliburn

A committee is a cul-de-sac from which ideas are lured and then quietly strangled.
~Barnett Cocks

To know, to esteem, to love--and then to part,
Makes up life's tale to many a feeling heart
~Samuel T. Coleridge

If man could pass through Paradise in a dream, and have a flower presented to him as a pledgethat his soul had really been there, and he found that flower in his hand when he awoke--aye! and what then.
~Coleridge

It is not impossible that to some infinitely superior being the whole universe may be as one plain, the distance between planet and planet only as the pores in a grain of sand, and the spaces between system and system no greater than the intervals between one grain and the grain adjacent.
~Coleridge
