Quote It! Saturday

I know I keep saying that I'm going to get the quote ball rolling again.  Well....I'm trying.  I do mean to.  Where does all the time go?????

In the meantime, Freda's Voice has a wonderful meme called Quote It! that I'm also going to try to get back into. You can post as many quotes as you like. To join in, hop on over to Freda's place!

—K. Patricia Cross

Cuomo’s Aphorism: In government, a dollar saved is a dollar overlooked.
 —Mario Cuomo

One of the curious things about censorship is that no one seems to want it for himself.  We want censorship to protect someone else—the young, the unstable, the suggestible, the stupid.  I have never heard of anyone who wanted a film banned because otherwise he might see it and be harmed.
 —Edgar Dale

Some deeper thoughts:

                                                —Charlotte Saunders Cushman

The heart is a fountain of weeping water which makes no noise in the world.
 —Edward Dahlberg

If you want others to be happy, practice compassion.  If you want to be happy, practice compassion.
 —Dalai Lama
