A place where I can share the quotes that I have collected (and keep collecting) over the years. I have gathered them from all sorts of sources. The "Quote of the Day" posts will always be a quote from a book and may be on any topic.

Quote It! Saturday

This blog is, of course, devoted to quotes. At least it's supposed to be...I'm still having trouble keeping up with two blogs. Gonna keep trying to get back into the swing of it.

In the meantime, Freda's Voice has a wonderful meme called
Quote It! that I cannot resist participating in. You can post as many quotes as you like. To join in, hop on over to Freda's place!

~Christina of Sweden

Think freely. Smile often
Rediscover old friends. Make new ones.
Tell those you love them that you do.
Dream. Hope. Grow. Give. Give in.
Pick some daisies. Share them.
Sing. Dance. Reach out. Let someone in.
Hug a child. Kiss.
Slow down. Hold a hand.
See a sunrise. Listen to a the rain.
Trust life. Share faith. Enjoy.
Make some mistakes. Learn from them.
Love everyone. Explore the unknown.
Celebrate life and love.
~from a Christmas card

To varnish nonsense with the charms of sound.
~Winston Churchill

Men stumble over the truth from time to time, but most pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing happened.
~Winston Churchill

Life is not always what one wants it to be, but to make the best of it as it is, is the only way to be happy.
~Jennie Jerome Churchill

From end to end of Thy creation,
There is no break in continuity, no more than between body and soul.
~Paul Cladel

Gossip needn't be false to be evil--there's a lot of truth that shouldn't be passed around.
~Frank A. Clark
